I haven’t blogged in a while because I was busy graduating college. But none the less I am back and ready to blog! I have been traveling as well and every time I saw something new I made a mental note to blog about it, so the next few days will be filled with stored up blog posts but I can promise you they were definitely worth waiting for! 🙂
I decided that my first post back should be a fun summer recipe! One morning I woke up at 3am starving after having a dream about pink lemonade cupcakes. I usually never remember my dreams, but this one I remembered, because it was a weird one. I didn’t get out of bed at 3am to start making them because I needed to buy the ingredients, but I did make them later that day. They are probably the most pink cupcakes you will ever see, but don’t let that scare you. They are very refreshing and light. (and you can control how pink you actually make them)
The recipe was so easy to make and the only modification I needed to make in order for the cupcakes to be gluten free was to replace the Duncan Hines Cake Mix with the Betty Crocker Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix. (also a reason why the cupcakes aren’t as pink…. dying yellow cake mix pink is harder than white). Here is the recipe courtesy of Make, Bake, Celebrate!
